Overview: Reports Tab
You can use the Reports tab within each workspace to view reports associated with the workspace.
Reports can be defined as consolidate analytical findings, visual outputs, and model-run detections into a structured, shareable document. You can use reports to transform geospatial and non-geospatial data—such as raster or vector overlays, charts, and tabular summaries — into a single narrative that can be viewed, approved, and exported for quick decision-making.
Reports Dashboard
When you access the Reports tab in a workspace, you can view a number of reports that are created by or shared with you.
If you are a new user, you may not see any reports.
Features
| Capability | Description |
|---|---|
| Create Reports | Generate reports with inputs using the analytical tool, AI model detections, or imported datasets. |
| Workspace-Scoped | Each report belongs to the workspace in which it was created, keeping analyses and results contextually organized. |
| Geospatial + Non-Geospatial Data | Combine map layers (raster, vector, AOI) with charts and tables derived from AI detections. |
| Reports Map | Search and view reports spatially on an interactive map. |
| Approvals Workflow | Follow a creator–approver model within your organization to validate reports before sharing. |
| Export and Share | Export reports as PDFs or CSVs and share them securely with other workspace members. |
How It Works
Within a workspace, the Reports tab acts as your one-stop-window to view all reports associated with a workspace.
You can create a new report directly from the Analytical Tools in a Workspace - particularly after running a model or performing spatial analysis on an image file - so it can be included in the report.
Once created, reports can include the following components:
- Geospatial visualizations such as raster or vector overlays and AOIs.
- AI model detections (for example, palm and ghaf tree detections in the UAE) presented as tabular or chart data.
- Text summaries and contextual metadata that describe the scope or findings of the analysis.
After creation, reports remain visible to all members of that workspace.
They can be reviewed and approved by another user from the same organization before distribution or export.
When to Use Reports
Use the Reports module when you need to:
- Compile spatial results and AI detections into a structured deliverable.
- Present visual and quantitative evidence to stakeholders or decision-makers.
- Archive workspace analyses with contextual explanations.
- Approve and share findings within your organization.
Reports help teams transform analytical outputs into actionable intelligence ready for presentation or decision review.
